Sustainability Innovation Competition 2022
Advanced Bacterial Sciences (ABS) is pleased to be named as a Winner of the Lloyds Banking Group Sustainability Innovation Competition 2022, facilitated by the Wates Innovation Network.
ABS was one of only 4 companies selected, out of over 100 companies who participated in the competition, which champions new sustainable technologies for the built environment.
Following a rigorous assessment process by Wates’ technical advisory panel, finalists pitched to judges in a Dragons’ Den style event at the Mitie office in The Shard, London on 28 January.
As a result, ABS will assist Lloyds in their commitment to deliver against their operational climate pledges, which commit to net zero carbon operations, a 50% reduction in energy consumption by 2030, as well as a 40% reduction in absolute water consumption by 2030.
Having conducted 3 successful trials with Lloyds, ABS products will be piloted across further Lloyds branches and offices in the UK.
